The United States Park Police will close several streets on Monday May 30, 2011 for the annual Memorial Day Parade.
At 6:00 am, the streets in the National Mall, Jefferson Drive and Madison drive, will be closed from 4th Street to 14th Street.
At about 1:00 pm, Constitution Avenue will be closed between 15th Street and 23rd Street NW.
These closures will be in effect until about 4:00pm.
The parade starts at 2:00 pm.
Other streets in the area will also be closed by our partners with Metropolitan Police, so please check with them for details.
Also on Monday May 30, 2011, there will be a wreath laying at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. For this, Henry Bacon Drive will be closed between Constitution Avenue and Lincoln Memorial Circle between 6:00 am and 3:00 pm.
