The United States Park Police is currently investigating a report of a shooting on the Baltimore Washington Parkway. On December 17, at approximately 10:12 p.m., the United States Park Police received a report of a shooting that occurred on the parkway. The incident occurred at the traffic light at the top of the ramp from southbound Baltimore Washington Parkway to Route 450. A Nissan sedan was stopped at the traffic light when an unknown assailant fired at the vehicle through the front passenger window. A teenage male riding in the front passenger seat was struck by the projectile in the right shoulder. The driver of the vehicle drove the victim to a local hospital. He has been treated and released with non life threatening injuries.
